Folgaria also joins the list of resorts opening their lifts ahead of schedule and is one of the few resorts below 2,000 meters in altitude to start running its ski lifts by November 20.
Snow made its appearance at the beginning of the month on the slopes of Folgaria and even fell low enough to whiten lower-lying villages such as Carbonare. A light snowfall that transformed the landscape and, above all, made it possible to switch on the snowmaking system.
The ski area’s modern snow guns have been able to work non-stop day and night thanks to favorable temperatures and the Passo Coe reservoir, which ensures a large supply of water.
It is therefore opening weekend for Folgaria: on Saturday and Sunday the Termental and Pioverna slopes will open at Alpe Passo Coe.
A special opening comes with a special price: the daily lift pass for adults and seniors is set at €15 (children free when accompanied by a paying parent), while juniors and children pay €10.
