On Saturday, December 5, the new season kicks off in style at Majelletta WE, celebrating its third year under its new lift management.
The snow arrived right on cue (the snowpack currently stands at 1.5 m), temperatures are holding steady, the sun is shining again, and the view out to the sea is as breathtaking as ever.
Upgraded just a few months ago, the snow groomers are working non-stop on the ski slopes and in the snowpark at 2,000 m to get all the features into top shape.
Good news for snowboarders: the discounted “snowpark-only” daily ticket is back this year, and riders can also stay right next to the snowpark at Rifugio Pomilio with special room-and-board packages.
Alongside the ski slopes and snowpark, all dining venues will also be open: the chalet restaurant at the base of the slopes and the Pist Stop, the original gourmet burger spot for healthy, tasty high-altitude refreshments.
Excellent snow conditions
The Majella massif has always been one of the snowiest areas in the Apennines, and right from the start of the season it boasts a snowpack that many Alpine resorts would envy.
