In a big surprise, the San Pellegrino ski area will kick off its ski season tomorrow, Saturday, December 6, with the opening of the Col Margherita cable car and the Lago Cavia-Col Margherita chairlift. Great news for all ski enthusiasts who cannot wait to get back on the slopes.
Thanks to the extraordinary work carried out in recent days by Società Impianti Falcade-Col Margherita Spa, skiing will be possible from 2500 meters down to 2100 meters along the slope served by the Col Margherita-Lago Cavia chairlift, an intermediate run set in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, with the return to Passo San Pellegrino guaranteed by the Col Margherita cable car.
The opening of the Husky Bar at the top of Col Margherita is also confirmed, while down in the valley hotels at Passo San Pellegrino are already open for overnight stays.
The other open ski areas in Dolomiti Superski are Cortina and Plan de Corones
