The Maniva Ski area is located in the province of Brescia and offers a growing ski resort with great prospects. The recent construction of the new Persole-Dasdana lift, which reaches an altitude of 2,088 m, has marked the beginning of a new future for the Brescia Prealps.
One of the big new features at Maniva Ski is the new snowpark!
A Blue line and jibbing: 4 tables in sequence that will host 4 small kickers suitable for those who want to get into freestyle, 2 slightly bigger kickers to progress safely, a flat-down box 3×3 m, a flat box 50 cm wide x 3 metres long, a big gas pipe, a very easy gunner, a very wide butter box 3 m long, a barrel to bonk and 2 very small boxes for beginners.
At the exit of the easy line you will find the 3 small funboxes with a 1-metre flat to jib. Next to the easy line you will find the boarder cross with 4 banked turns in sequence and rollers.
Red Line: in sequence you can try a line with a flat-down box 3 m x 6 m, a kicker with an 8/10-metre flat, a second kicker also with an 8/10 m flat and the spine, 12 metres long and 5 metres high. The wallrail is also on the red line.
Black line: 6 m down box, kicker with a 10/12-metre flat, a second kicker also 10/12 m, a third kicker with a 13/15 m flat and, to close the line, the spine.
At the exit of the Snowpark, on the persek slope, you will find 4 very small funboxes in sequence to jib.
With these latest features the park will extend over 600 metres, so you will be able to find and try 8/10 features in sequence.
All the terracing that will host the Snowpark features was carried out this summer, with earthworks to make the area suitable and safe.
For safety reasons, the entrance to the blue line and the boarder cross is separate from the entrance to the red and black lines. Music and a chill-out area inside the park. Helmets are compulsory inside the Snowpark. And a Ne.W snowboard hut where you can book lesson hours directly with the Ne.W snowboard instructors.
