A well-established tradition: Breuil-Cervinia reopens its lifts this weekend, on the following weekend of October 25-26, and then every day from November 1 through May 3, 2015.
The first resort in the Aosta Valley to kick off the winter season and… the last to close.
Reports describe the Plateau Rosà glacier as being in top shape, ready to welcome enthusiasts who don’t want to miss out on the pleasure of the first ski runs of the season.
Reachable from Breuil-Cervinia by lift in about half an hour, Plateau Rosà, with its 23 kilometers of slopes, has always guaranteed year-round skiing thanks to the high altitude (up to 3,500 m) across which the entire ski area unfolds, the sporting jewel of the “Cervino Ski Paradise”.
In Swiss territory, for this weekend the Plateau Rosa I, II, III, Grenzlift, and Plateau Breithorn ski lifts are operating from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the first uplift from Breuil-Cervinia departing at 8:10 am.
The price of the “international daily” ski pass is € 52.00.
