Madesimo is also taking advantage of the excellent weather conditions and bringing forward the opening of its ski lifts to this weekend: enthusiasts will be able to hit the slopes on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20.
Recent snowfalls have blanketed the Lombardy ski area in white, and the rest was done by the snowmaking systems, which were switched on right away and kept running 24/7 thanks to the favorable weather conditions. Cold temperatures both at high altitude and in the valley have made it possible to cover part of the ski area with snow and thus bring forward the start of the winter season.
For this first opening weekend, the daily lift pass will be offered at a special price of €25, and the operating ski lifts will be the Larici Gondola Lift and the Cima Sole Chairlift.
The season will officially begin on a daily basis starting November 26; further details on open slopes and ski lifts will only be available starting Thursday, so we recommend visiting the official Valchiavenna ski area website
