Following last weekend’s great start with 3,500 skiers, the Spinale gondola opens this coming weekend: 11 kilometers of perfectly snow-covered slopes with a vertical drop of around 900 meters.
Following the positive turnout last weekend, which saw over 3,500 skiers choose the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio for their first runs of the season, Società Funivie Madonna di Campiglio is once again offering the chance to ski this coming weekend at discounted rates on selected runs in the ski area. In addition to the Grostè sector, the Spinale sector will also open with ski-to-door connections between the slopes.
Operating non-stop from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will be both sections of the Grosté gondola, the Grosté Express, Rododendro, and Boch detachable chairlifts, and the Spinale gondola, serving the Graffer, Lame, Boch, Spinale Diretta, Fortini, and Grotte slopes as well as the upper section of the Ursus Snowpark.
11 kilometers of perfectly snow-covered slopes will provide excellent skiing from Cima Grostè at 2,444 meters above sea level all the way down to the village at 1,550 meters—at the base of the Spinale gondola—covering a vertical drop of around 900 meters. For ski mountaineers, the Pradalago Facile slope will once again be made available: 3,740 meters long with a vertical drop of around 500 meters.
The daily skipass will be offered at a promotional rate: €30.00 for Adults, €25.00 for Juniors, and €15.00 for Children up to 8 years old. Ticket offices at Grosté, Spinale, and Centrale 5 Laghi will be open non-stop from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Barring unexpected weather, the full opening of the entire ski area is confirmed for Saturday, December 2, 2017, with lifts open daily through Sunday, April 15, 2018. The Grostè, Spinale, 5 Laghi, and Pradalago sectors are all scheduled to open with full ski-to-door connections, along with the ski link to Folgarida-Marilleva via the Genziana and Zeledria slopes.
