The snowfalls of recent days have had the hoped-for effect, and ski resorts are working non-stop to open their lifts.
Several ski areas have decided to kick off the season a few weeks early, including Monterosa Ski and Madonna di Campiglio, now joined by the opening of the slopes in Valchiavenna.
In Madesimo, the ski lifts will open early on Saturday, November 22, 2014; here are the lifts and slopes that will be open over the weekend:

The daily ski pass price is set at € 25.00.
There is no shortage of snow in the Valchiavenna Ski Area, and Madesimo will be the first ski resort in Lombardy to open its lifts in this 2014/2015 season.
