The news everyone was waiting for has finally arrived: this weekend the ski lifts open in Madonna di Campiglio. The storm that swept across the Central and Northeastern Alps overnight brought huge amounts of snow at high altitude and whitened lower elevations as well, benefiting the Brenta Dolomites where the snow report shows 150 cm at 2500 m and 90 cm at 2200 m.
The Pearl of the Brenta Dolomites is blanketed in snow, and Società Funivie Madonna di Campiglio has therefore decided to open the ski lifts in the Grostè area on the weekend of SATURDAY 22 and SUNDAY 23 NOVEMBER 2014.
Over the weekend, the Grosté gondola lift (1st + 2nd section) and the Grosté Express chairlift will operate non-stop from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The “Graffer” and “Corna Rossa” slopes will be open along with the Ursus Snowpark (upper section).
Another important detail is the special promotional ski pass price: just €20 for the adult daily pass, €15 for Juniors, and €10 for children.
To purchase ski passes, the Grosté ticket office is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and the central 5 Laghi ticket office is open non-stop from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM for issuing 2014/15 season ski passes.
During the week the lifts will remain closed, but starting SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2014 they will be open every day.
