The panorama over the Upper Engadine that you can enjoy from Muottas Muragl (2,456 m), the mountain devoted to walks and sledging, is so unique that you almost risk forgetting why you came all the way up here. It is very close to all the peaks, valleys and lakes of the region, which from here appear in all their splendor.
The MUOTTAS MURAGL is the first zero-impact high-altitude hotel. During the summer of 2010 the building was completely renovated, making it energy self-sufficient. The building was fitted with solar panels and a geothermal system capable of heating the water it needs thanks to the heat of the earth, and an insulation system also allows the building to maintain its temperature even during cold winter nights.
A hotel that respects the environment and which, in terms of energy, is not only self-sufficient but actually produces more energy than it consumes. For more information you can visit the page muottas muragl
