Presena Glacier: Ski Lifts Open from Saturday, November 11

The snow has arrived and the 2017–2018 ski season can finally begin: starting Saturday, November 11, the slopes of the Presena Glacier will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (until 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays). The Atlantic storm system of recent days brought 40 cm of snow to Passo Tonale and a full meter of snow to the glacier, which from Saturday will be skiable from the 3,000 meters of Passo Presena down to the 2,585 meters of Passo Paradiso.

This snowfall made it possible to put the finishing touches on the snowmaking work begun several weeks ago.
For the start of the season, the Adamello Ski area has set the daily skipass price at €33.

Upgraded snowmaking system

Major investments have been made in programmed snowmaking across the Adamello Ski area.
The system has been upgraded both on the glacier and on several runs at Passo Tonale, as well as in the Ponte di Legno and Temù ski areas. Weather permitting, the top priority is to cover and open the slopes in the shortest possible time—the driving principle behind upgrading the snowmaking systems already in place across the entire ski circuit.
