Over six thousand skiers on the slopes of Breuil-Cervinia, which got the 2011/2012 winter season off to a great start over this long All Saints’ weekend at the end of October. People skied on the Plateau Rosà glacier in powder snow and excellent weather conditions that made it easy to get to the slopes. Among the attractions was the new aerial tramway linking Cime Bianche Laghi with Plateau Rosà at 3,500 m.
The lifts remain open as normal every day, and currently 5 surface lifts, the Furgsattel chairlift and the Piccolo Cervino aerial tramway (3,883 m) are running.
You can visit both the “Una montagna di lavoro” museum at Plateau Rosà and the “Ice Grotto” at the Piccolo Cervino.
