It is time for Corvatsch to open its doors and kick off the new ski season as well: dry weather delayed the initial opening, but artificial snowmaking has now bridged the gap. State-of-the-art snowmaking systems have produced enough snow to open the lifts on Saturday, November 28:
The Corvatsch cable car departing from Surlej is open.
The 2015/16 season will kick off with a welcome aperitif from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Murtèl mid-station.
Open lifts:
- 1st section Surlej – Murtèl cable car
- Alp Surlej chairlift
Open slopes:
- Chastelets slope down to Alp Surlej (night slope); the valley run from Alp Surlej down to Surlej remains closed for now.
Open restaurants:
- Murtèl Restaurant, mid-station
- Hossa Bar
1st Snow Night:
- Scheduled for Friday, December 4, 2015, featuring DJ Tanja La Croix at the Hossa Bar and a live concert at the Murtèl mid-station. Slope open from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Following the lift opening on Diavolezza, the season is now underway at Corvatsch as well, bringing the winter spirit back to the Engadin!
