Two splendid sunny days accompanied the official opening of the ski season in Madonna di Campiglio.
Natural snow at altitude, together with a good amount of machine-made snow, made it possible to prepare to perfection the Graffer and Corna Rossa slopes and the upper part of the Ursus snowpark, served by the Grosté 1 and Grosté 2 gondola lifts and by the Grosté Express 6-seater chairlift, which can carry over 5,000 people/hour.
The great desire to ski and the promotion launched by Funivie Madonna di Campiglio Spa with the 20-euro day pass drew around 3,000 people on this last weekend of November, showing just how much interest skiing arouses, along with the wish to spend a splendid day in the open air.
As previously announced, the lifts will remain open every day, non-stop from 9:00 to 16:00 and, temperatures permitting, on Saturday December 3 the Rododendro four-seater chairlift and the new Boch four-seater chairlift should come into operation, serving the Lame, Lame Variante Boch and Boch slopes and further expanding the skiing on offer in Madonna di Campiglio.
