The wait is finally over: the new ski season is about to begin in Livigno as well. On Saturday, November 29, Livigno’s ski lifts—serving the 115 km of slopes across the ski area—will officially open, while the cross-country ski track has already been operating for about three weeks.
There are currently 30 cm of snow in the town and 110 cm at high altitude.
Livigno is also known as Little Tibet due to its geographical setting, and when winter arrives it transforms into a White Paradise.
Thanks to the excellent snow conditions, Livigno will offer well-groomed slopes in both the Mottolino and Carosello 3000 ski areas, with the daily adult ski pass on promotion for just €23 until December 19, 2014.
The start of winter in Livigno also marks the return of the Skipass Free promotion, running from November 29 to December 20, 2014 and again from April 11 to May 3, 2015. During these periods, the ski pass is free when staying at least 4 nights in a participating hotel or 7 nights in a participating apartment.
