Monterosa Ski slopes

MonterosaSki SlopesSki lift openings continue in the Monterosa Ski area, with the season kicking off on the Piedmont side as well and additional slopes opening on the Aosta Valley side:

In Gressoney-La-Trinité, the lifts running from Stafal to the two inter-valley connections will be open.

– The Colle Bettaforca side opens, offering the opportunity to cross over and ski on the Bettaforca slope of Frachey-Champoluc, connected with the Gressoney side though not yet reachable for those skiing in Ayas. Open slopes: B1 Pistone Betta, B2 Betta 1, and C14 Del Colle.

– The Stafal-Passo dei Salati side reopens, having already kicked off the season early last weekend to the great satisfaction of die-hard skiers. Opening slopes: G7 Salati, G8 Salati 1, and G9 Castore. On Saturday and Sunday, Passo dei Salati will also be served by the lifts rising from Valsesia, connected to the ski area via slopes V2 Mullero and V3 Olen.

The Monterosa Ski daily pass will cost 31 euros. The Gressoney lifts are scheduled to remain open daily without interruption throughout next week as well, while the lifts rising from Alagna will close again on Monday, December 1.

Also on the weekend of November 29 and 30, skiing will be available in Champoluc on the Sarezza slope (C5) alone, accessed from Champoluc village. The Frachey area and the internal connection within the Ayas Valley will not yet be available for skiing. The daily ski pass in Champoluc will cost 16.50 euros.

Due to adverse weather conditions, the opening of the Champorcher ski area, initially scheduled for Saturday, November 29, is postponed for now.

The start of the ski season for the resorts of Antagnod, Brusson, and Weissmatten (Gressoney-Saint-Jean), hoped for on December 6, will be confirmed next week if conditions permit.
