In Airolo the season continues until April 9 with conditions that are still excellent (snow depth 30-130
cm). What’s more, until the end of the season a day pass will cost only Fr. 25.- (weekends and public holidays included!!!)
On Friday, April 6, 2012, the second edition of the Stralünada da Pesciüm will take place, a popular
uphill race by moonlight.
The race will be held on two different courses:
1st course: popular course from Airolo to Pesciüm (560 m vertical gain and 2.5 km long)
2nd course: elite course from Airolo to Sasso della Boggia (890 m vertical gain and 3.8 km
long)
Both courses can be tackled in two different categories: snowshoes and ski mountaineering. Both categories have a women’s and a men’s class.
Programme:
19:00 registration closes
19:30 race start
21:30 dinner and prize-giving at the Ristorante Pesciüm
approx. 22:30 first descent by cable car
Stralünada da Pesciüm prices:
Fr. 25.- with online pre-registration (by 12.00 on April 6) and payment at the ticket desks by 19:00
on race day
Fr. 30.- without online pre-registration
The price includes race registration, dinner (hot dish + dessert) and the descent by cable car at the
end of the evening.
Alongside this event there will be the usual Moonlight Skiing & Snowshoeing, during which you can also try the thrill of the waterslide and use the skicross course and the rails, which for the occasion will be moved from the snowpark to the Ristorante
Pesciüm area. Moonlight Skiing & Snowshoeing participants can also have dinner at the Ristorante

The evening will go on with lots of music and a DJ who will keep the party going until late at night.
