Madonna di Campiglio: Lifts Open from Saturday 18 with €30 Skipass

Madonna di Campiglio ski lift opening date

Saturday, November 18 marks the start of the winter ski season in Madonna di Campiglio.
In keeping with a well-established tradition, the lifts in the Grosté sector—the highest part of the ski area—will be in operation; thanks to the 30–40 cm of natural snow that fell in recent days, combined with a generous base of machine-made snow, they will guarantee excellent skiing from the 2,500 m summit of Cima Grosté down to 1,890 m at Vagliana, covering a vertical drop of over 600 m.

Operating non-stop from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will be both sections of the Grosté gondola, the Grosté Express 6-seater detachable chairlift, and the Rododendro and Boch four-seater chairlifts.
The open slopes will be Graffer, Lame, and Boch—totaling more than 7 km of runs—plus the upper section of the Ursus Snowpark, set up with a selection of features. Crews are working flat out to prepare the Spinale Diretta and Fortini runs, which would make it possible to ski all the way from the top of the Boch chairlift down to the Fortini area at the base of the 1st section of the Grosté gondola at 1,600 m altitude. If completed in time, that would bring the total skiable terrain to over 10 km of slopes with a vertical drop of around 800 m.

The daily skipass price will be offered at a promotional rate: €30 for Adults, €25 for Juniors, and €15 for Children up to 8 years old. The Grosté and 5 Laghi ticket offices will be open non-stop from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The lifts in Madonna di Campiglio will be open on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19, reopen the following weekend on November 25 and 26, and then operate daily from Saturday, December 2 through Sunday, April 15, 2018.
