Super Grostè is the grand end-of-winter celebration in Madonna di Campiglio: two days dedicated to fun and great ski and snowboard challenges—1 long-distance giant slalom race, 1 banked slalom, lots of partying and fun, and of course official parties, special guests, shows, high-altitude entertainment, and plenty of prizes for all participants!
The action begins on the morning of Saturday, April 11 with the “Banked Slalom” snowboard race and prize pole at the URSUS SNOWPARK on the Grosté. The awards ceremony for the Banked Slalom race will take place in the afternoon, livened up with music at the Après Ski Jumper (at the bottom of the Grosté gondola lift).
After dinner, it will be time for the official Super Grostè 2015 party at the piano bar of the Des Alpes nightclub, “Piano 54”, in the company of Andrea and Michele from Radio Deejay, who will put on a top-class DJ set and entertainment for the occasion.
On Sunday, April 12 at 9:00 AM at the top of the Grostè, action resumes at 2500 meters above sea level with the long-distance giant slalom race on the “Graffer” slope no. 60 (blue), a course over 3 kilometers long with a 450 m vertical drop and plenty of competitors ready to give their all to climb onto the top step of the podium! Numerous guest athletes and prominent personalities will be present, ready to compete and have fun together.
On Sunday afternoon at 2:30 PM at the Party Village set up at the mid-station of the Grosté gondola lift, the awards ceremony for the Giant Slalom race will take place for the top 3 finishers in each category, along with a raffle offering tons of prizes for all participants present wearing their race bib.
Exciting prizes up for grabs include MSC CRUISES, A SCOOTER, A MOUNTAIN BIKE, TWO-SEASON MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO SKI PASSES (summer + winter), SPORTS EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL, SHOPPING VOUCHERS FOR STORES IN MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, and goodies for everyone.
On Saturday and Sunday, a Big Air Bag (giant inflatable mattress) will be set up at the bottom of the Grosté gondola lift, giving all freestylers the chance to jump and have more fun than ever. Registration for Super Grostè 2015 is open.
