Finland: the Northern Lights seen from Google Street View

Northern Lights Google Maps

Northern Lights Google MapsThe world’s most used and best-known search engine seems to love snow and the winter season in general; over time, Google has released several new features dedicated to snow lovers, first with trail maps viewable directly on Google Maps, then with the Street View system applied to ski slopes, and now with a new and fascinating page: the Finnish Northern Lights.
Google has decided to dedicate a space to one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena, the Aurora Borealis, whose charm leaves everyone speechless. This was done through Street View footage captured directly on the Finnish snows, filming a night featuring the effects of the Northern Lights.

Thanks to Google’s magnificent technology, you can walk virtually across the Finnish snows and use your mouse to look up and admire the aurora borealis; the snow-covered landscape and the building completely frozen over as if it had just come out of the freezer are fantastic as well.

Below is the map so you can immediately experience the thrill of a virtual tour on the Nordic snows with your gaze turned towards the Northern Lights.
