At long last, snow has returned to blanket the Dolomites after months and months of dry weather. Snowfalls swept across the Dolomites yesterday evening and are continuing across many ski resorts in Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
One of the destinations that suffered from the lack of natural snow is Val Gardena; once again this year, the World Cup races on the Saslong were saved by artificial snowmaking systems and the extraordinary work of the slope crews, who did everything humanly possible to deliver a race course worthy of the sport’s greatest champions.
Now, however, the wait is over and you can finally get back to skiing on fresh natural snow!
