The great Mountain event returns to Fiera di Bergamo. Over 120 booths, 45 events, and 11,000 sq m of exhibition space to discover all the latest technical innovations of the “outdoor” world and the best tourism offers for the winter season.
Alta Quota is one of the most important trade fairs dedicated to the mountains and the outdoor world; every year thousands of enthusiasts (as many as 50,000 at the 2014 edition) head to Fiera di Bergamo to visit the booths of the event held in early October.
The 2015 edition will take place on Friday 9, Saturday 10, and Sunday 11 October with free admission every day.
Numerous ski resorts and major outdoor companies that manufacture and sell gear for going to the mountains in both summer and winter—skis, boots, jackets, pants, helmets, and more—will be present.
And after purchasing your gear, you can watch contests and events in the outdoor plaza of ALTA QUOTA 2015, which for the occasion will host 8 completely free trial areas:

The largest photo in the world
During Alta Quota 2015, the Mountain Fair, visitors to the Canon booth can have a fantastic portrait taken and printed against the backdrop of the Gigafoto, the largest photograph in the world ever created, featuring 70,000 shots and a size of 365 Gigapixels!
At the Canon booth you can also discover the services offered by Canon Academy by taking part in free mini photography courses and exploring the latest Canon products. Polenta Taragna Village
A major new feature of ALTA QUOTA 2015 will be the village entirely dedicated to the quintessential “mountain” dish: polenta and its delicious pairings. Across a 1,000 sq m area, visitors can savor Orobic specialties at around twenty stands, creating a true food and wine festival.
