Glorious sunshine made the many enthusiasts forget the fog that blankets the plain, welcoming them into a wintry setting with slopes open on the Italian side of the ski area too. Another weekend of fine weather and wintry snow, which delighted the many skiers who chose the Breuil ski area for their first runs of the season.
And from Monday, November 21 until Thursday, November 24, the Spanish and Chilean A national teams are expected, as well as the Swiss B national team for giant slalom and super-G and the Aosta Valley Committee.
In addition, in the upper part of the Ventina, below the Gobba Rollin, the Italian, German, Spanish and Slovenian Boarder Cross and Ski Cross teams are training on a dedicated course prepared by the technicians of the company Cervino S.p.A. ( until December 10 ).
Cervinia is one of the few ski areas enjoying a rather unusual start to the season: only in the last few days have the lifts opened in Bormio and Prali, but the Aosta Valley destination remains one of the favourites.
