On Saturday, February 4, 2012, to coincide with the full moon, Airolo-Pesciüm will host February’s “Moonlight Ski & Snowshoe” event!
The meeting time is 19:00 for the ride up by cable car; once on the slopes, you can ski until 21:00.
As at January’s night-time event, for those who wish, snowshoes will be a good alternative to skis, and it will be a chance to walk the brand-new snowshoe trails, just opened for the 2011/12 winter season.
After skiing or snowshoeing, you can have dinner at the Ristorante Pesciüm, where you will have the chance to choose between a good hot dish or an excellent fondue! After dinner, the cable car will take you back down to the valley.
Especially for those on snowshoes, it is advisable to bring a head torch.
Prices:
ski pass + hot dish and draught drink: Fr. 25.- (booking appreciated)
ski pass + fondue: Fr. 35.- (booking required by February 3)
Day passes, season passes, multi-day passes, vouchers and discounts are not
valid.
