snow weather

Snow is coming back: first clouds from Thursday, then likely snowfall above 1,200 m

It looks like the wait is over: after almost a month without snowfall, with ski lifts forced to postpone the season, snow should be on its way.
Over the past week the weather situation seemed very uncertain, but now everyone (or almost everyone) is forecasting a change, with snow returning to the Alps from the first days of December.
The first clouds should appear over northern Italy around Thursday night and then thicken towards Friday, when the first showers will begin. There are no detailed snowfall forecasts yet, but it seems the snow level will drop as the hours go by, possibly reaching 1,200 m.

It’s still too early to say whether this will be the snowfall that allows the ski season to start, but one thing we can say: winter is just around the corner!
