Alongside the sport climbing wall, Orienteering, Nordic walking, Alpine skiing, Mountain biking, and Skyrunning (with product testing opportunities), BMX, and Slacklining, two new highlights stand out:
the return of bouldering with the “Bergablocco” competition organized by the Climberg group on Sunday, October 12, and another major new addition to the AQ2014 lineup, the “Pump Track”, which will allow everyone to ride the course of rollers and banked turns with the support of instructors and free rental bikes. The public will also be able to watch freestyle exhibitions by BMX and dirt athletes presented by Ns Shop.
For the youngest visitors, AQ as always devotes the utmost attention: after all, they are the future enthusiasts of the mountains and the many activities connected to them. Taking care today of the adults of tomorrow through detailed information, workshops, courses, and demonstrations means fostering a culture for a proper, aware, and respectful approach to the environment and to other people. Children will therefore be able to have fun in complete safety (and much more) with kids’ snowtubing, climbing, alpine skiing, and orienteering.
Admission to the fair is completely free throughout the entire duration of the event; for more info visit the website www.alta-quota.it
