Following the early opening of the slopes on the Plateau Rosà glacier on the Swiss side, the Italian ski destination is now ready for a new snow-filled winter.

Starting tomorrow, skiers will be able to use the Plan Maison lifts (Italy) with the opening of the Plan Maison and Fornet chairlifts, as well as the Goillet chairlift in the Ventina ski area. The Ventina slope is also open, starting from 3,500 m at Plateau Rosà and returning to Cime Bianche Laghi (2,812 m). Starting Saturday, the Bontadini chairlift, the Baby La Vieille drag lift, the Plan Maison magic carpet (free for everyone), and the Gran Sometta drag lift in Valtournenche will also go into operation.

Snow conditions are excellent, with the snow report ranging from 60 cm at Plan Maison to 160 cm at Plateau Rosà.

For those wishing to ski “only” on the Italian side of the ski area (45 kilometers of slopes), the national daily ski pass is offered at 30 euros; the international pass, which also includes access to the Swiss slopes of Plateau Rosà open down to Furgg (2,432 m), is on sale at the “Pre-Ski” rate of 49 euros.
