The YouSnow sports association, in collaboration with Cervino S.p.A., the Indianpark team, and NRC eyewear, is organizing a two-day event to snowboard and ski while testing the new gear for the 2014-2015 season on the snow of the Matterhorn ski area.
Several leading snowboard, apparel, and snow-accessory brands will provide snowboards, skis, accessories, and gear free of charge to enjoy a great day on the snow while having fun evaluating their performance.
Among others: APO, Nike, Dragon, Burton, Blizzard/Tecnica Group, GNU, Libtech, K2, Ride, Nitro, Salomon, Oakley, GBP, Sambocompany.
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the on-snow test village at Plan Maison will be open (at the top of the first section of the cable car running from Cervinia to Plateau Rosà). Visitors can choose the gear they want to test and try it out on the slopes, already covered by a thick blanket of fresh snow. And with the international ski pass, you can head all the way up to the Plateau Rosà glacier to experience the thrill of high-altitude skiing on the highest runs.
On Saturday evening, the fun continues with the season kick-off party “YouSnow Enjoy your Style”, dedicated to members and snowboard and ski enthusiasts who want to meet (or reconnect with) the YouSnow team and return to Cervinia to celebrate the arrival of winter.
Once again this year, athlete Marco Donzelli will be the face of YouSnow for the season and the ambassador of the “Enjoy your Style” motto around the world—because snowboarding is, first and foremost, a sport to be practiced on the mountains we love.
The YouSnow 2014-2015 program features a packed calendar of activities in the snowpark and on the slopes (gear tests, freestyle snowboard and ski camps, snow games, and much more). Sport & hospitality packages at low-cost rates compared to standard resort prices, with special attention to young people and families with children. A philosophy of experiencing the snow built around immersion in nature and breathtaking landscapes.
Upcoming dates following the Test: December 6-7-8 with the YouSnow Camp (3rd edition), offering two days with instructors to snowboard and ski and improve your style; the YouSnow White Week for a snowy New Year’s Eve at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn (from December 26 to January 6, various packages available); and then the Snow Games (April 18-19, 2015): mega games on the snow with athletes, a preview test of next season’s gear, and the end-of-season party.
