Funivie Madonna di Campiglio is pleased to announce that starting today the new Pancugolo chairlift is open to the public, serving the new expert ski slope of the same name.

The new fixed-grip quad chairlift starts at an altitude of 1,876 m and reaches 2,088 m, covering a vertical rise of 212 m over a length of 447 m, with an hourly capacity of 1,600 passengers per hour.

The two new slopes have the following specifications:

PANCUGOLO SLOPE: black.

Bottom elevation: 1,730 m
Vertical drop: 357 m
Length: 950 m
Maximum gradient: 69%

Bottom elevation: 1,985 m

The “Pancugolo” slope will enable Madonna di Campiglio to bid for a permanent spot on the World Cup calendar in the Super-G discipline, alongside the classic slalom held on the Canalone Miramonti on December 18 and scheduled to return in 2014 and 2016.
