After last year’s great success with the torchlight procession that set a Guinness World Record, the Dolomite’s Fire committee has scheduled for SATURDAY, MARCH 17, starting at 6:30 p.m., a charity evening that will light up the streets and slopes of Madonna di Campiglio.
Anyone who wishes will be able to take part in the event. It is a show during which glowing hearts will be formed with lanterns in support of the Fondazione Magica Cleme Onlus. The event has been named “Magica Notte nelle Dolomiti” (Magical Night in the Dolomites) because thousands of Chinese lanterns will be released into the sky. A fireworks display will follow.
The proceeds of the event will help support the children of the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza and of the Milan Cancer Institute during their recovery. The event’s patron is Cristina Parodi. Many personalities from the worlds of culture, entertainment and sport will be there, including GIP from Le Iene, Gerry Scotti, Juliana Moreira, Benedetta Parodi and many other familiar TV faces.
Madonna di Campiglio and the splendid Brenta Dolomites will provide the backdrop for this unmissable charity event. For more information and to register online, visit the website www.dolomitesfire.com
