Once again this year, Skipass Modena is packed with new offerings presented by ski areas and industry companies; among the top ski destinations are the Aosta Valley Region, Plan de Corones, Corvatsch, and Val di Fassa.
Iconic brands returning to the fair include Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange, Head, Salomon, Atomic, Fischer, Völkl, Dalbello, Gabel, and Leki.
In the market area, visitors will find skis, bindings, boots, snowboards, goggles, sunglasses, apparel, and snow accessories with great discounts and promotions across several shops at the fair where you can buy gear for the winter season while saving money.
Outdoor Area
Skipass 2014 revamps its outdoor area, setting up a true mountain village at the Modena exhibition center dominated, as in the last edition, by the snow-covered Ski Area—the largest ski slope ever built in a city—open to the public and to interaction with the companies presenting their seasonal new releases and 2014/2015 collections at ModenaFiere.
Demos, clinics, free ski and snowboard lessons, mini snowshoe excursions, and telemark races and exhibitions engage visitors of all ages. Alongside the Ski Area are features such as the new rail—a breathtaking setup designed for competitions between snowboard and freeski pros—and new structures dedicated to visitors such as the ‘beginners rail’ for aspiring freestylers, snow-tubing, and the inflatable bag jump.
There will also be the Urban Rail Contests, featuring top Italian and international riders.
