Everything is ready at the Modena exhibition centre for the eighteenth edition of Nissan Skipass, the Winter Tourism and Sports Show, which opens its doors on Saturday, October 29.
With a very respectable programme and 25,000 square metres of exhibition space, the event is getting ready to welcome snow enthusiasts.
On the eve of the winter season, Nissan Skipass is an important event and showcase for the business of the snowy mountains. Combining sport and tourism, Nissan Skipass is a magnet for thousands of high-altitude enthusiasts, a large marketplace that draws more than 100,000 visitors every year.
Four days of business and entertainment, with an offer ranging from holiday packages to sports equipment. Taking part in the Show are ski resorts from all over Italy and the main winter resorts of the Alpine arc from France to Slovenia, the leading brands in the sector, mountain professionals – lift operators, ski instructors, ski technicians, mountain guides -, associations and sports federations. A very long list of acronyms behind which lie the mountain professions and a passion for winter sports.
Once again the star of the event is the Italian Winter Sports Federation, which returns to Nissan Skipass with the athletes of the white circus and a calendar of important institutional events. At the Show, top-level skiing takes centre stage in this edition too, thanks in part to the presence of the Organising Committee of the Innsbruck Winter Youth Olympic Games and of the Roccaraso Junior World Championships, two of the many moments promoting winter sport on the programme during the four days in Modena.
From the calendar of sporting events, which as usual includes ski and snowboard races accredited on international circuits, to the free ski and snowboard school activities for children, Nissan Skipass presents itself as a great meeting point where tourist resorts, companies and snow users come together.
