Snow Circles, human creation or UFOs?

Crop circles have always been one of the most fascinating mysteries linked to the alien world: every year, just as wheat is about to ripen, extraordinary shapes and patterns begin to appear, their origin often attributed to Extraterrestrials using this original way of drawing in wheat fields to communicate and send important messages to humanity.

Despite the scale and beauty of these designs, the scientific community maintains that they are nothing more than human-made works created with simple tools and good coordination; in recent times, in fact, several “Artists” have come forward admitting to being the creators of crop circles that have appeared in fields around the world.

While debate continues over the alien authenticity of crop circles, few people know that a winter variant also exists—namely SNOW CIRCLES.

Unknown to most, these designs are very similar to those created in wheat fields except that here the canvas is snow: they begin to appear in the early winter months across plateaus and mountain hollows around the world, especially in the Alps.

Are UFOs communicating with SNOW?

The first snow circles were reported several years ago by backcountry hikers climbing to high altitude on climbing skins or snowshoes; from the mountain summits, the patterns in the snow left no room for doubt, and once back in the valley their photos made the rounds of winter resorts.
The complexity of these designs is no less impressive than that of Crop Circles, featuring huge discs and intricate geometric shapes that form true masterpieces!

Are these extraordinary snow designs the work of UFOs?

While the debate over crop circles is still open, here there is no question at all since the creator of these works revealed his identity right from the start: he is Simon Beck, a mountain enthusiast who since 2004 has been traveling around the Alps unleashing his imagination on the snow.
By profession, Simon makes orienteering maps of mountain trails, so his knowledge of the terrain has helped him find suitable locations across the entire Alpine arc. His activity as an artist started as a joke in 2004, but today his snow drawings are famous all over the world!

As he himself states, each design takes a full day of work, and if he cannot finish it before dark he keeps going into the night; the ideal surfaces are flat expanses such as plateaus, hollows, and frozen lakes.
These designs are created using only his head and his legs, taking shape simply by walking on snowshoes along a carefully plotted path; in addition to legwork, these works require meticulous planning to accurately calculate the measurements and steps needed to bring the image to life.
The geometric structures drawn in the snow have been so successful that they are now created not only in remote spots, but also in ski resorts, producing genuine works of art at the foot of the ski lifts.

Many skiers and snow lovers describe these snow drawings as true masterpieces—a feast for the eyes and a delightful way to make snow-covered mountains even more beautiful.

So if during the winter season you happen to spot a circle in the snow from high up in a gondola, don’t worry—it’s not UFOs, just Simon Beck at work :)
