There are just a few days to go until the start of summer, and the summer ski destinations are all ready for a new snowy ski season.
After the opening of Passo Stelvio and its slopes at 3,400 m, now it’s the turn of Val Senales, which is getting ready not only to inaugurate a new summer skiing season but even to open the Gentlemen’s Nitro Park snowpark at 3,000 m.
A reference point for riders from all over Italy, Val Senales is the capital of summer snowboarding. With always abundant snow and features prepared by the professionals at F-TECH. The Gentlemen’s Nitro snowpark is the best you could ask for if you can’t keep your board still even in summer.
So from June 11 until a date yet to be announced, Val Senales is getting ready to host snowboarders from all over Europe, with major events organised by the best companies in the sector.
Every summer, Val Senales has always turned into a “training camp” for the best riders, who keep in shape for the following winter season. The low temperatures guaranteed by the altitude and the abundant snow guaranteed by the glacier make it possible to recreate a winter setting where you can try spectacular tricks without worrying about the season.
Here snowboard and ski companies test their new products, announce what’s new and show previews of the following winter season, often combining these tests with real camps where everyone can try out the boards of the following season ahead of time.
To coincide with the inauguration of the 2011 summer season, the Gentlemen’s Nitro Park team has organised a week-long camp (June 12 to 19) entirely dedicated to girls. It’s the “Candy Week”, a camp week in which female snowboarders can have fun on the snow of South Tyrol.
With Passo Stelvio and Val Senales, Trentino Alto Adige is ready for another fantastic summer skiing season!
