World Cup: Razzoli second, no fewer than 4 Italians in the top 8 in Alta Badia

Italy shone in Alta Badia at the Slalom stage in Alta Badia. After Blardone’s victory yesterday in the Giant Slalom, the Italian national team left its mark in the slalom. No fewer than 4 Azzurri finished in the top eight, with Razzoli on the podium with the silver medal and, in order of finish, Deville, Patrick Thaler and Stefano Gross.
A fantastic race full of surprises: one surprise was Thaler’s comeback, another was Razzoli’s great performance, since after his injury his shoulder problems had pointed to a mediocre race and certainly not a podium. Giuliano himself said in the post-race interview that he was extremely satisfied: he tried not to think about the pain and gritted his teeth, managing to put down a fantastic second run. First place was “snatched” from him by a whisker by the Austrian Hischer.
A great team that has shown it has everything it takes to play a leading role in this Alpine Ski World Cup.
The only blemish was Moellg going out, but in the interview he said he feels in good shape and ready to win in the next races.

Great satisfaction also for Alberto Tomba, who receives as a birthday present the podium of his “fellow local” Giuliano Razzoli, along with the great satisfaction of seeing a national team in top form!

Congratulations to Razzoli, congratulations to the Azzurri and a very Happy Birthday to Alberto Tomba!
