Starting Saturday, December 1, the ski season kicks off in the Vialattea ski area. Right from day one, skiing will be available on a large number of slopes from Sestriere to Sauze d’Oulx, with the ski-in/ski-out link open.

In Sestriere, the Alpette, Borgata, and Banchetta sectors will be open (Baby surface lift, Cit Roc, Trebials, Garnel, and Nuova Nube chairlifts, and the Sestriere Fraiteve gondola), while in Sauze d’Oulx skiers will be able to access the ski area via the Sportinia chairlift, with the Rocce Nere sector and the Vallone del Rio Nero available to start, served by the Rocce Nere, Chamonier, and Colò chairlifts.
The remaining sectors will also open progressively, in line with snow conditions on the slopes.

The snowfall of recent hours has brought a huge amount of fresh snow: 80cm of snow has been recorded in the valley, while at high altitude it exceeds a meter—more precisely, a full 120cm has fallen.
To celebrate the first snow and encourage early outings on the slopes, the price of a daily pass for the pre-opening days, until Thursday, December 6, will be €26.
