Among the resorts that have understood how important on-slope webcams are is Madonna di Campiglio, which has recently installed and activated 3 more major cameras.
These include two panoramic webcams installed on Monte Spinale that broadcast high-resolution images and allow viewers to observe the ski area in 360°.
One panoramic webcam frames the slopes of the 5 Laghi and Pradalago areas, while the other offers a panoramic view of the Brenta Dolomites and the Grosté area.
The webcams allow users to interact and zoom in on the desired area. Above the image, the names of the peaks, ski slopes, and ski lifts are displayed. They also broadcast updated snow data and the temperature recorded at high altitude (at an elevation of 2,100 m a.s.l.). The panoramas are updated every half hour. The system is compatible with smartphones and tablets.
The other new high-definition webcam has been installed at a strategic point in the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Skiarea: in the foreground the Pancugolo black slope is visible, and in the center the Grosté and Spinale areas framed by the evocative Brenta Dolomites. It is equipped with a timelapse function that allows viewers to replay a sequence of the most recent shots. The image is updated every 5 minutes from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
All the webcams of the Ski Area can be viewed at the page: www.funiviecampiglio.it/it/webcam
